So, uh, this person couldn't do a Google search to see if someone might already be using the term? No alarm bells went off when recordism.com was already registered?

i have been told this in response:
"All words are subject to the possibility of polysemy; especially words that are mainly used to describe obscure artistic movements."

"ok, what for if not the point"
Once upon a time, oh so many decades ago, I was a Socialist Anarchist. It was not an obscure artistic movement. The term/movement/intent has now been enslaved and obfuscated by a right wing political 'ideology'.
I could list so many terms and ideologies, such as 'Right to life', that have been stolen and redefined to suit other intents.
I do not appreciate Monsewer's "[...] especially words that are mainly used to describe obscure artistic movements." Ah, yes. He may be articulate but he cannot be forgiven for his colouring artistic movements pejorative.
